Fall 2019 to Summer 2020 Bridgewater Softball Tryout Dates
Bridgewater Baseball and Softball would like to announce that tryout dates for next season have been posted. Bridgewater Travel Softball is a competitive program for girls in grades 1 to 12. The program for most age groups consist of tournaments and league play in the Fall, Spring and Summer Season as well as winter trainings. The “Tournament Softball Season” begins in September and runs to the end of July.

All8U, 10U and 12U Bridgewater players are asked to participate in the recreation softball program and play in 50% of the games during the spring season.
Age requirements for the Travel Softball program are as follows:
If your daughter is 8 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2011 or later), she is eligible to play 8U softball.
If your daughter is 10 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2009 or later), she is eligible to play 10U softball.
If your daughter is 12 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2007 or later), she is eligible to play 12U softball.
If your daughter is 14 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2005 or later), she is eligible to play 14U softball.
If your daughter is 16 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2003 or later), she is eligible to play 16U softball.
If your daughter is 18 years old or younger on December 31st of 2019 (Born in 2001 or later), she is eligible to play 18U softball.
Please note that your daughter can “play up”, meaning, if she is eligible for 14U but wants to play at 16U, that is permissible. Girls can NOT “play down”, meaning if she is ONLY eligible for 16U, she may not play at 14U. If your daughter is considering playing up, please register for the “regular” age group for which she is eligible as well as the “play up” age group so that if she doesn’t make the team on the “play up” age group, she can still play at her “regular” age group.
